Legislation of the provision of spiritual care in the armed forces of the Czech Republic The thesis deals with the legislation of the provision of spiritual care in the armed forces of the Czech Republic, a subject of the field of religion law. Spiritual care in the armed forces is a manifestation of religious freedom provided in the Czech Republic by a system of legal sources of various legal powers. The aim of this thesis is to analyse all these sources, describe their relationship and evaluate the way in which they ensure the exercise of religious freedom in the structures of the armed forces of the Czech Republic. The work is divided into ten chapters. The first chapter explains basic terminology. It explains the concept of spiritual care and the concept of the armed forces of the Czech Republic. The second chapter is devoted to the content of spiritual care in the armed forces and the reasons for its existence. Its subject is therefore a description of the activities by which spiritual care is carried out in the environment of the armed forces. The third chapter describes the organization of the Czech Armed Forces, their division and the tasks that are entrusted to individual components. The Importance of two German-Czech European Battlegroups with regard to German-Czech Relations

The goal of this Bachelor thesis was to examine the importance of two German- Czech European Battlegroups with regard to German-Czech security relations. This thesis is concerned with the mutual security cooperation of both countries since 1990. It reveals a dynamic development in the bilateral relationships, especially a conciliation with the past, which has been a precondition for later successful cooperation. Differing historical experience projected into an attitude of both states towards their armed forces, which is noticeable until the present day. The thesis further analyzes the German role during the NATO enlargement in 1999 and discusses the military cooperation of the Czech Republic with the Federal Republic of Germany both in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union. The main emphasis is placed on the concept of European Battlegroups and its practical realisation in four particular examples: Czech-Slovak (2-2009), the first German-Czech (2-2012), the first Visegrad (1-2016) and the second German-Czech (2-2016) European Battlegroups. The Leisure time influence on the life satisfaction of Military Policemen's of the Czech Republic.

The thesis deals with the influence of free time on life satisfaction of Military Police personnel. It depicts how much the free time means to military personnel and how they spend their free time. A theoretical part is focused on peculiarity of different social groups represented by The Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and the Military Police and it is also focused on acceptance requirements to the aforementioned organizations. In addition to that it describes different views on the free time, life satisfaction and quality of life. It evaluates certain survey outcomes aimed at spending the free time and the life satisfaction not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. Positive effects of the free time against risk behavior are mentioned in the theoretical part of the thesis as well as ways of prevention against the negative impacts implemented by Ministry of Defense. A survey is the main part of the practical part. The survey is focused on ways of the free time spending, on its sufficiency or deficiency, and how the quantity of the free time influences the life satisfaction of the Military Police personnel. The survey shows connection between the free time and prevention against the risk behavior and influence of the free time on life satisfaction too.
Public presentation of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in selected Czech media

Diploma thesis "Public presentation of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in selected Czech media" deals with public presentation of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic (ACR) and Ministry of Defense (furthermore the department of defense). Nowadays, it is necessary to work with public and media presentation, and if it is possible, then cooperate with media which help to form the public opinion. One of the goals of our work was to determine whether the department of defense uses any communication manuals and procedures for their public communication, and by using qualitative analysis (interviews and own research of available materials) to explore what is its communication strategy and which tools are used for communication with the public and the media. The goal of quantitative content analysis was to determine how different is an interpretation of events associated with the department of defense in our chosen print media (MF DNES, Blesk) from interpretation of these events in departmental media (journal A report, websites www.army.cz). Proffesional Soldier in his Free Time - Preferences, Needs, Risks and Advantages of Being Deployed to a Foreign Mission

The thesis is focused on how free time activities withing the Czech Armed Forces are planned organized and its influence on fulfilling tasks under specific situations of military contingent of the Czech Armed Forces in abroad. Theoretical part of the thesis describes ways of planning and organizing of free time for military personnel of Czech Armed Forces during regular peaceful period. It also depicts differences in conditions and organizing of the free time when in peaceful time on one hand and when at foreign missions on the other hand. Differences in attitude of the Czech Armed Forces personnel and military personnel of the other countries to free time are specified in the theoretical part. Experimental part contains an assessment of the survey that is focused on how military personel of the Czech Armed Forces spend their free time when deployed to a foreign mission. The issue of the free time is solved in many ways like preffered activities, organizing and planning of the free time, comparison in attitude of the Czech Armed Forces personnel and military personnel of the other countries to their free time.
